During the mid-1500s, the first vines were introduced to Chile by Spanish priests.

During this time, the production of mass wine was of utmost importance due to the devotion of the Catholic conquerors. Our Santa Lucía wine pays homage to those priests, as our initial vineyards were acquired on December 13th, the same day that “Santa Lucía de Siracusa” is celebrated.
